Muffler & Exhaust Repairs & Maintenance

The cost to replace your vehicle's exhaust is more expensive than performing regular routine maintenance. A well-maintained exhaust system keeps your engine running quieter and more efficient while also keeping the exhaust fumes away from you and your passengers.

Don't Ignore The Warning Signs

Here are some things to look out for:

Failing Catalytic Convertor

Depending on your vehicle, the catalytic convertor may be the most expensive component in your exhaust system. You can usually notice your catalytic convertor is failing because of loud noise and reduced performance, sometimes even sounding like a box of rocks being shook when your car or truck is stopped.

Reduction in Fuel Efficiency

Do you fill up your tank more often than you used to? Reduced fuel economy is a warning sign that something is wrong with your vehicle’s exhaust or muffler system. When there is a leak in the system, your engine has to work harder requiring more fuel.

Vibration during operation

If your vehicle vibrates or suddenly loses power while driving, it is a sign you need an inspection. The intensity and noise level may vary depending on the size of the affected area. Holes, leads or unmounted axles do not cause vibration, but may signal that your engine is no longer performing at peak performance.
